About Us

Dear Patient Conduct Community,

As Founders of Patient Conduct, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for your passionate support and involvement.

In May 2024, we created a small passion project motivated by our own experiences in healthcare. Over the course of the last months, the community has responded to our project with curiosity and engagement. This is not to be taken for granted because many projects don’t end up getting the attention they deserve. Thank you for your continued involvement and active participation.

As we maintained the website and got feedback from you, we have begun to understand the depth of the healthcare ecosystem. Our interactions with you, the community, have taught us about the current state of affairs and pain points from many different perspectives, especially those hurting most - family physicians. While there is a lot more to still learn, your feedback helped us understand the key points that Patient Conduct is now rallying around.

Our vision is that one day, there will be a transparent and connected healthcare ecosystem that appropriately incentivizes the best primary care physicians. Family doctors who can wake up everyday knowing their clinics have the best patients who appreciate their hard work day-in day-out.

Our operating principles will always remain true as we continue our work to achieve this vision. Too often we forget about two very important principles of family medicine which we will bring forward.

  1. Family doctors are resources to a defined practice population. Being a family doctor is not just a job; it is a service of offering medical care in exchange for trust and compensation. Physicians should make every attempt to offer the best service: well-maintained facilities that are safe and compliant with healthcare regulations. They must be aware of and comply with medical policies and regulations of their practice - which we at Patient Conduct strive to make easy. Our patient roster management and conduct tracking tools support this by providing the necessary information and systems to manage patient care proactively. Family physicians accept their responsibility for wise stewardship of scarce resources and consider the needs of both the individual and the community. By handling patient conduct and accountability, Patient Conduct frees up more time for physicians to serve more patients with higher quality care.
  2. Patients are responsible participants. The patient-physician relationship is central to the role of the family physician. Patients are responsible participants who should be aware of healthcare policies and regulations and be empowered to advocate for their rights. They are expected to pay for services rendered in a timely fashion, maintain their health by following medical advice, and respect what is stipulated within the signed patient-provider agreement. Our conduct tracking and enforcement services uphold high standards of behavior, fostering strong, respectful relationships. This trust is crucial for effective care and allows physicians to focus on compassionate and personalized treatment.

With the two key points above, we want to create an ecosystem that incentivizes millions of healthcare providers and patients to engage in the business of healthcare as responsible members of the healthcare ecosystem.

There is a lot of opportunity to save time, money, and mental energy. We can make massive improvements together.
